Un informe<\/strong> publicado por la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional del Trabajo<\/strong> en v\u00edsperas del D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer<\/strong>, este 8 de Marzo<\/strong>, afirma que, al ritmo actual, se tardar\u00e1n dos siglos en la igualdad de g\u00e9nero laboral entre hombres y mujeres.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 1991 la brecha entre las dos tasas era de 27 puntos. En la actualidad esa diferencia m\u00e1s de 24 puntos<\/strong>, puesto que un 46,4% de las mujeres en edad de trabajar est\u00e1n empleadas frente a un 69,5% de los hombres, por lo que se ha reducido en 4 puntos. Al ritmo actual de avance se tardar\u00e1n casi dos siglos en lograr que esos porcentajes se igualen. Seg\u00fan las estimaciones de la OIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Directora del Departamento de Condiciones del Trabajo e Igualdad de la OIT<\/strong>, Sujti Dasgupta, afirma que \u201cse necesitan reformas urgentes<\/strong> para abordar las desigualdades en<\/strong> el cuidado de las personas, las diferencias salariales entre hombres y mujeres, y la violencia y el acoso en el mundo laboral, factores que siguen haciendo los lugares de trabajo m\u00e1s desiguales y menos seguros para ellas\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\u00f1ade que \u201caunque ha habido progresos, millones de mujeres siguen enfrent\u00e1ndose a obst\u00e1culos persistentes para acceder a un puesto de trabajo decente, permanecer en \u00e9l y progresar\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las mujeres tienen ingresos m\u00e1s bajos, menos horas y est\u00e1n infrarrepresentadas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunque cada vez son m\u00e1s las mujeres que tienen estudios, solo un 30% de ellas alcanza puestos directivos<\/strong>, con una ligera mejora en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El informe de la OIT destaca que las mujeres siguen destinadas a una sobrerrepresentaci\u00f3n en sectores mal pagados, tienen ingresos m\u00e1s bajos, menos horas de trabajo y en trabajos temporales.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La situaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 lejos de la igualdad<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caritas<\/strong> alerta <\/strong>que uno de cada cinco hogares sustentado por mujeres sufre exclusi\u00f3n social<\/strong>. Un porcentaje que disminuye hasta un 16% en hogares sustentados por hombres, seg\u00fan la encuesta sobre Integraci\u00f3n y Necesidades Sociales elaborada por FOESSA.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan Caritas, las brecha salarial de g\u00e9nero alcanza a un 20% de las mujeres lo que provoca que cobren de media un 5.212\u20ac menos que los hombres. Seg\u00fan explica, esto se debe a factores como la carga de cuidados, la asignaci\u00f3n a sectores feminizados con baja remuneraci\u00f3n y la limitaci\u00f3n a puestos directivos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
